location was excellent, staff very friendly and very attentive, breakfast spectacular. No doubt we will repeat soon, I was with my mother and we loved everything. we entered we were left with our mouths open, minimalist decoration and with pictorial works of various artists throughout the hotel. For those who like art, it's wonderful. we entered the room we had a breathtaking view of the Guggenheim (we had reserved a smaller, interior room but were surprised by a superior quality one), room didn't lack anything. Every day they replenished the teas and infusions and left us with chocolates. We liked the breakfast very much, honey was incredibly good and pancakes were delicious. attention of the staff could not be better, attentive and friendly and always ready to inform you about what to visit and making sure everything is correct, Ruben, Ines, Esther, Mamen, Gorka.. ten. In short, wonderful holiday, we will certainly repeat.
Nothing, I liked everything.

Charming Stay with Really good Service
I stayed for 3 nights in a cozy small double room. The staff, particularly Alfonso, went out of their way to provide local insights. Loved the complimentary filtered water! The bar area was a perfect spot to unwind after daytime explorations. Be sure to try their breakfast options!

Staff are excellent despite my lack of Spanish! Very friendly, helpful and professional. We travelled 40 hours to get from Melbourne to Bilbao so I decided to book a great hotel at the end of our journey and we weren't disappointed. Large room, huge bed, excellent location opposite the Guggenheim Museum. Original art is dotted through hotel including rooms. Beautiful breakfast as well. Highly recommend both the location and the hotel. Can also recommend the tram ride to the old original town area. Buy the ticket at the nearby tram stop (next to the Guggenheim) and the old area is just 3 or 4 stops away just over the river....sensational area...full of great shops, local produce and lively bars.
There is no mini bar or tea/coffee making facilities in the room but they have free tea, coffee, potato chips and drinks in the bar downstairs next to reception until about 10:00 pm. Also no iron and ironing board which was puzzling considering the size of the room and the quality of the hotel. Small annoyance and didn't detract from our experience.

We liked this place - nicely appointed and fully equipped hotel.
Everything was very comfortable, INCREDIBLE location close enough to great restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Guggenheim and the Fine Arts Museum, and which btw is a lot more interesting from the outside than on the inside, very very good experience. The room was well-equipped and well-kept and had charming views of the Guggenheim Museum and park. Got comfortable bed and free Wi-Fi.

The Miro is just a few minutes walk from the museum. It is a boutique style hotel and is very trendy. Advertisements mention a free bar however that is somewhat misleading as it offers coffee, soft drinks and beer. You cannot actually buy a glass of wine or any other drink or food. However, dont let that put you off as there is a fantastic bar next door and you can buy a bottle of wine for 6 euros or two beer for 5 euros. Breakfast also too expensive in hotel so go next door to the bar and get it for 10 euros for two people. The new tram link is a few minutes walk from the hotel and will take you straight to the bus terminal and the old town and is inexpensive. Overall an excellent choice of hotel and had a brilliant time in Bilbao.

Fabulous in everyway - proximity to Guggenheim Museum, friendliness, great facilities including iPod dock and giant flip flops - and quiet, although right in the heart of Bilbao. And a wonderful breakfast - didn't mind paying extra for that one bit!
